Kyle Walker  Vice President, Sales Manager

Twenty-five years after graduating from Oklahoma State University and taking his first job with Wallace Business Forms, Kyle remains in the same line of business and anticipates a lifelong career in the printing industry. His career has provided him with a series of diverse and challenging sales and management positions throughout the country.

Kyle came to Raintree Graphics in 1996 and became vice president shortly after. Today he’s excited about the future growth and potential that lies ahead. The alignment with Raintree has truly been a wonderful experience for Kyle, and he knows that his customers’ needs and demands are better met at Raintree Graphics than anywhere else. This is a true comfort to him as he sees new challenges and opportunities arise.

Kyle enjoys golfing and going to the beach with his two sons. The challenges of both fatherhood and printing are at times nerve wracking, but when Kyle says he wouldn’t trade it for the world, he truly means it.

“Sales is a relationship business, and the relationships I’ve established with my customers are invaluable.”

It’s these relationships, 25 years of sales and management experience and a keen interest in his customers’ satisfaction that keep Kyle occupied and driven.

Fraser Bolwell

Born 1960 – Southern Rhodesia, Africa
1987-1992 – Owned and managed print franchise – London, UK
1992-1997 – Owned and managed commercial print shop – Jacksonville, FL
1997-present – Raintree Graphics – Sales – Jacksonville, FL

Fraser’s overall experience allows him to provide an in-depth knowledge of digital print, web-to-print, commercial print and mail processing. He has experience in management planning, estimating, marketing and technical experience in operating and buying printing equipment. By knowing the capabilities of equipment, Fraser can troubleshoot jobs before they go to press, thus saving time later. At the planning stage adjusting the finished size, larger or smaller, could provide big printing savings or US postage savings, if mailing. Fraser can give suggestions on how to obtain the required full effect of a piece by using different paper stocks and how different printing processes react on it. He enjoys showing different businesses ways to reduce duplication on materials, order correct quantities (to optimize cost), offer innovated ways to reach prospects and support their customer, amongst many other strategies.

“Raintree Graphics has provided me with monthly sales meetings focusing on customer service as number one. Over the many years with Raintree Graphics I have secured the significance of a sales person and how providing the customer true value, provides a loyal customer for years to come.”

CSX Corporation 2001 – Deborah Lamir (Corporate Communications & Public Affairs) – “I keep a list of ‘Star Performers’. A vendor must earn his or her way onto this list by going above and beyond. They must do their absolute best to keep my priorities in mind and ensure my company looks as good as it should. Fraser Bolwell holds a top spot on this list.”

John Brophy

John Brophy started his career in the printing industry in 1983, working for a large commercial printer in downtown Chicago. He worked there during the summers and between breaks in his education.

John started selling commercial printing in 1995 for Goslen Printing, a 135-year-old offset printing company located in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Quickly becoming a million-dollar producer, he was made Vice President in 1997.

In 1998, John took on a position with Document Xpress, of Savannah, Georgia, to spearhead its expansion into Jacksonville, Florida. After about a year he was approached by IKON Business Solutions and asked to become VP of Sales for both the Business Document Services and Legal Document Services divisions in the Jacksonville market. In 2000, IKON Corporate decided to close several of their Business Document Services locations, including Jacksonville. At that time John seized the opportunity to put his old employer, Document Xpress, together with the outgoing IKON BDS business division. In December of 2001, he and two partners purchased the assets of Document Xpress and formed DX Marketing. The company built a production facility in the Belfort Oaks area of Jacksonville and maintained the production facility in Savannah.

John and his partners sold the $12 million company to Money Mailer, out of Garden Grove, California, in 2006. He stayed on as Sales Manager until 2008 and then purchased the Jacksonville assets back.

He formed DlincInk, a digital printing, large format and direct mail company, in 2008 and ran that successfully. In 2010, with the help of the two former owners, he reformed the original company, buying back the Savannah assets as well. DXM Marketing Group was the result. DXM Marketing Group grew into one of the largest and most respected data driven companies in the Southeast. DXM Group specialized in profiling and digital banner advertising along with conventional printing and direct mail.

In August of 2015, John accepted a buyout opportunity from DXM Marketing Group.

John then became the VP of Large Format at Kessler Creative. He built the team and division into a consistent million-dollar outfit.

Mike Kirkwood

Years after completing his college education, studying business and marketing at Bryant College and Kent State University, Mike began his 22-year printing sales career in Ohio in the fall of 1998 with Digital Industries, Inc. After a short stint selling dye sublimation printing in northeast Ohio, he accepted a position at the company’s headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida in early 1999.  His role was a National Sales Manager of dye sub printing for point-of-purchase and trade show clients throughout the Midwest.

In 2004, Mike shifted gears and helped to build the first successful vehicle wrap company in Jacksonville, selling thousands of wraps between 2004 and 2008. After the onset of the 2008 recession, he moved on to a new opportunity as a Sales Executive at Media Works, Inc. He was asked to create, sell and manage a new vehicle wrap department for the company, creating a revenue stream that helped Media Works make it through the recession. He broadened his branding strategy as time went on, selling POP, trade show and environmental branding for Media Works for the next 8 years.

After Media Works was sold to Dimension Design, Mike accepted the role as the Southeast US Sales Executive, covering five states and selling trade show displays and other product lines to exhibit houses and agencies. “I pride myself on bringing personality and character to branding strategy by recommending unexpected ways to bring a brand to life on time and under budget,” says Mike. “My team figures things out, taking client vision and turning it into reality, elevating our partners and clients.”
